.ID is a country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) in the DNS root zone. It is designated for Indonesia. The IANA root zone lists the registry manager as Perkumpulan Pengelola Nama Domain Internet Indonesia (PANDI). Registration policies (who may register, local presence, pricing) are set by the registry and its accredited registrars — not by IANA.

.id is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Indonesia. It was first registered in February 1993. Since 2007, it is managed by the Indonesian Internet Domain Name Administrator (Indonesian: Pengelola Nama Domain Internet Indonesia or PANDI), based on regulation set by Decree of Minister of Communication and Information Technology (now Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs).

Who can register .id domains?

Eligibility is defined by the registry operator and its registrars. Most gTLDs are open to anyone worldwide. Many ccTLDs are also open globally; some require local presence, citizenship, or trademark rights. Always confirm current policy with the registry or your registrar.
