About .kh domains

.KH is a country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) in the DNS root zone. It is designated for Cambodia. The IANA root zone lists the registry manager as Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC). Registration policies (who may register, local presence, pricing) are set by the registry and its accredited registrars — not by IANA.

.kh is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the Kingdom of Cambodia. It was formerly administered by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia from 1997. In September 2012, the domain name was transferred to the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia, which currently administers it. The domain name is named after the ISO 3166-2 alpha code KH, which is named after the majority ethnic group of Cambodia, the Khmer people. Only Cambodia-registered companies, government agencies, organisations and Cambodian citizens can register domain names.

Who can register .kh domains?

Eligibility is defined by the registry operator and its registrars. Most gTLDs are open to anyone worldwide. Many ccTLDs are also open globally; some require local presence, citizenship, or trademark rights. Always confirm current policy with the registry or your registrar.
